With over 20 years in professional aviation, Grady Boyce has served in roles from UAV Section 333 Exemption and Special Use Case developer, FAA Designated Examiner, airspace & procedure developer at the world’s busiest airport, operational program developer/implementer, Performance Based Navigation (PBN) expert, and FAA approved Instrument Flight Procedure developer and validator. He has been recognized for outstanding work performance through the receipt of Delta Air Lines Chairman’s Club award in 2010 and nomination for the Edelman Award for Environmental and Economic benefits. Additionally, he has spoken at conferences around the world on the topics of Performance Based Navigation, Regulatory Approvals, and other aviation topics representing organizations such as Boeing, Honeywell, IATA, ALPA, and Delta Air Lines.
With type ratings in the EMB-120, DC-9, B-737, and B-757/767, he is currently flying the B737NG for Delta Air Lines, helping companies seek their UAV commercial goals, speaking and writing on a variety of aviation topics relative to Performance Based Navigation and the world’s transition to new methods of navigations.
